As a guest, it is your responsibility to properly secure the apartment by locking the door and maintaining control of the key at all times. The hosts will not be held accountable for any incidents of theft or loss that may occur.
The price of the apartment includes: water supply, electrical supply, cooking supplies, water heating, internet WiFi, and a final cleaning fee.
As guests, we kindly ask you to be mindful of your impact on the environment and to conserve resources during your stay. Please be mindful of your electricity and water usage and take steps to conserve, such as turning off the air conditioning when you are not in the villa and keeping doors and windows closed. To ensure the heated pool remains at a comfortable temperature, please close the pool cover when not in use during the winter months. In the event that your energy or water usage exceeds a reasonable amount, the host reserves the right to request payment for the full bill.
Guest Limitation Policy: The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number indicated in the reservation. If this limit is exceeded, the host reserves the right to cancel the reservation and request the immediate departure of all guests without a refund. It is the responsibility of the guest to accurately disclose the number of guests staying at the property. Any additional guests beyond the maximum limit must be approved by the host in advance. Violation of this policy may result in additional fees, as well as immediate termination of the reservation without refund.
The guests are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the accommodation during their stay and leave it in the same condition as when they arrived. The host is not responsible for cleaning or maintaining the accommodation, but guests are required to properly dispose of their waste using the designated trash containers located at the end of the street.
The host must respect the privacy of the guests and shall not enter the rented villa without prior notice and consent. The host may only enter the property in exceptional circumstances, such as if there is an immediate threat to the safety of the property or guests, or if there is reasonable suspicion of a violation of the established house rules.
The host is available to provide any assistance or information you may require during your stay, but is not responsible for arranging leisure activities or entertainment for guests.
The host will make every effort to ensure the safety and protection of guests’ belongings during their stay. However, guests are responsible for taking care of their own property and securing valuable items by keeping them in a safe place and securing doors and windows when leaving the villa. The host will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ belongings.
We regret to inform you that pets are not permitted on the property. If any guests are found to have brought a pet onto the premises, the host reserves the right to immediately cancel the reservation without any refund.
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and in enclosed areas. If you need to smoke, please do so on the outdoor terrace of the apartment or in designated outdoor smoking areas.
Bringing in easily flammable, explosive materials, or items with strong odors is strictly prohibited. Use of electrical devices that have not been approved by the host is also not permitted. The cost of electricity is included in the accommodation fee, however, any additional electrical consumption that is beyond what is considered normal usage will be charged extra. Any unauthorized usage found during your stay will result in additional fees, regardless of whether it was utilized or not.
Quiet Hours: In respect of other guests, quiet hours are in effect from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, all loud and disruptive behavior, including but not limited to excessive noise, music, parties, and shouting, is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule may result in immediate termination of the reservation without a refund.
The guest is obliged to protect the apartment’s equipment and general state, especially is it essential to take care of switching off all electrical appliances, air condition, closing all tabs and sunshades for the time being out of the apartment. Before using the air condition, it is necessary to close all windows and doors. It is not permitted to move any furniture between the rooms nor to take out inner equipment into another accommodation, out or to the beach. Particularly do not leave unnecessarily the air condition on when you are not inside nor use it while windows and doors are open. It is prohibited to cool food or beverages with running water. Besides it is prohibited to throw away waste into the toilet bowl, sink and other places which are not provided or to the yard and the close proximity of the house.
It is strictly forbidden to bring in persons that are no guests of GranTauro Holiday Villas and who have not been listed on the reservation. In the event that non-registered persons are found, the host has the full right to cancel the accommodation to all guests without any consequences regarding the payment of cancellation costs.
A guest who purposeful or accidently causes a defect or damage on the property will have to indemnify the full amount of the caused damage to the host.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, we kindly request that all visitors take personal responsibility for any accidents or injuries that may occur during their stay on the property. Please take extra caution and be mindful of your surroundings at all times, as the guests will be held liable for any incidents that take place on the property, including but not limited to, their own safety around the pool. By agreeing to these house rules, guests acknowledge that they understand and accept this responsibility.
On the day of departure you are obliged to leave your accommodation by 11:00 o’clock to make sure that it will be cleaned and prepared for other guests who are going to arrive after you and who have the right to enter between 15:00h – 16:00h.
The villa you have rented shall be left in the state existing on the day of your arrival: clean, tidy and with no damage.
Guests who do not comply of the house rules and who disturb peace will get an unconditional cancellation of the accommodation.
In the case of a cancellation of the accommodation by the host due to infringement of the house rules, the guest will be charged the whole amount of the reserved period of time, regardless of the shorter stay.
GranTauro Holiday Villas will not be held responsible for any fees incurred during financial transactions, such as refunds, that are imposed by financial institutions. Any such fees will be deducted from the refunded amount and are the responsibility of the guest.
You may offer your comments, suggestions and compliments to your host who is at your disposal during working hours from 8.00 to 20.00 o’clock.
The costs for the rent of the accommodation shall be paid 14-1 days prior to arrival, had not been carried out by another agency. The payment shall be realised in credit card, PayPal, bank transfer or cash on the day of arrival
A €300 non-refundable deposit is to be paid within 7 days after the reservation has been confirmed.
Please note that in the event of an early termination of your stay, a €300 deposit will not be refunded if notice is given less than 14 days prior to arrival. If notice is given between 14-1 days prior to arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
Upon check-in, it is assumed that the guest has been informed of and agrees to abide by all rules and regulations outlined in the house rules. Should the guest not agree to these terms, they must vacate the premises. In case of any disputes that cannot be resolved between the guest and the host or agency, they will be addressed through the proper legal channels in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
