The island of Gran Canaria has a reliable public transportation system, including bus service. The bus station at the airport is located on the upper level near the main road.
The quickest way to get to the south of the island from the airport is by taking Express buses 1 or 91, which cost approximately 8-10 EUR per person and take around 1:30 hours. You have two options once you get off the bus. You can either get off at the main bus station in Puerto Rico and take a taxi to the villa (at an additional cost of 4-6 EUR), or you can get off at the nearest bus stop “Playa Tauro” and walk to the villa in about 15 minutes. Keep in mind that the walk involves a dirt road, so it may not be the most convenient option if you have heavy luggage.
